I am a new Mac Yosemite user. Where do i find network conection settings? Someone set them for me twice but each time i shut down, i cannot connect to the internet as i have lost the settings. I assume there must be some tick box to make the settings remember and automatically connect. I would be grateful for any advice. (just migrated from windows)

To find the wifi settings, you want to navigate to the "Menu Extras." Here's a step-by-step:

- Hit VO + M to go to the menu bar

- Hit VO + M again to go to "Menu Extras"

- VO + Right Arrow over until you hear "Wifi"

- VO + Space to select

Then you can navigate the wifi menu as usual with the arrow keys and enter to select. Hope that helps! I also imagine there may be some more detailed settings in system preferences, but I don't know that for sure. Could look into it if you like.

To add to what people just said, once you click on your network to connect to it and land on the password screen, once you type in the password, tab once and make sure the "remember this network" box is checked. That should take care of your mac forgetting it part.
