Today, I was contacted by Pete Cole, one of the developers of Noatikl, which is a great app for generating music. While the app was usable, it was far from fully accessible. Today I got a letter from him stating that they are working on Noatikl 3, and that one of the biggest driving forces is accessibility. redesigning almost the whole app so that it's accesssible. I don't know of any other company that has gone so far to make their product accessible. I'll give you more details as they are made available to me, but the new version should come out within the next month or so. Needless to say, I'm quite stoked!

Re: accessibility
If I remember correctly, this is the procederal music generation app you reviewed on a podcast a while ago. If so, I'm very much looking forward to it--I imagine being able to compose entire soundtracks for a game using this. Than again, the results may not be the best qualty for that kind of thing, so I don't know.
Clarification
You say "generating music." Do you mean generating printed sheet music scores, or generating music in an audio format using instrument samples, etc.? Either way, as a hobbyist composer, I'll definitely be eager to hear more about it.

This looks pretty cool. I've never played around with MIDI stuff or music making before, but it has always sounded fun to do so!
The app itself is free,
The app itself is free, though there are limits: The full version is $10. Right now, you'll want to use it with a soundfont player like Bizmark, but Noatikl 3's synth interface will be fully accessible, and it will have a fully functional soundfont player built right in.

Noatikl 3.0 is out!
The wait is finally over as the Noatikl 3.0 came out yesterday or today and, yes, it is much more accessible.
The only drawback is that it is no longer possible to get a free version with in-app purchase. From what I understand though, version 2.2.8 will still be available in the app store for some time.
