Hi!
My name is Daniele, I'm from Italy and I'm 32.

First of all thank you very much for this community, I've recently lost my sight and this kind of resources has been very important to get autonomy under the informatic point of view.

Said this, I've found some troubles to enter egain the world of work, and, regarding job opportunities, I'm asking if an Apple Authorized Training Center can train also blind people to become Apple Certified Trainer.

Thank you in advance.
I hope this post isn't out of topic.

Cheers.

Daniele.

I don't know of any blind trainers that actually work with apple, but that'd be great and I hope it works out.

Lookk for John Panarese on the web.
He is a certified Apple professional and he owns another website I won't be putting here.

Well if is in the US, I do not see whynot. Since apple is into accessibility. ADA will figure in this discussion. I am social worker who work in Chicago ful time. The only thing I would worry for a blind person to work as a airline pilot.

Hello,

Sure, you can be an Apple technology trainer. But if you plan to train other visually impaired people, have someone sighted near by just in case you run into a message or error that VO does not read aloud or you need to do a hardware setup/settings changes. Don’t let this stop you from reaching your gols but be aware and realistic.

Good luck and keep us posted!
