Does anyone know of an app where I can make a playlist and the app can automatically mix the songs for me? I would like to do this so I can play music at a party and get people to dance. Does anyone know of such an app that is accessible?
Thanks

Try MyPowerMix by Anthony Blatner
I like this one because you can control the rounds, i.e., how many songs are played. You can control the length in which a song is played, add transition sounds between songs if desired, and it runs in the background. I use this one for working out. Every time the song changes, the exercise changes. Great for Tabata style workouts or sprint intervals on the treadmill.
You can change the round number, length the song is played, the transition sounds, etc. via a picker item found at the bottom of the screen. To create your playlist, double tap the power button in the upper lefthand corner. All playlist controls are here. For example, if you want to change the rounds to include 120 songs instead of the devault 60 songs, then double tap the 60, not the word "Rounds". This in tern will activate the picker item at the bottom of the screen. Flick up/down to change the number of rounds. Then click done. Alternatively, each item that can be changed has an unlabeled button next to it that also pops open the picker item. I like selecting the actual item, instead. Be sure to select a playlist that has a very large song count to get the best results. I really like this app.

podcast
I would love to hear a podcast on djay 2 for Iphone also. I figured out how to automix, but what if I want to skip back and forth through songs, as I do in the stock Music app. Djay 2 looks very promising though, and thanks for any input.
Djay 2
Hi
Can anyone explain how to use djay 2? I have decided to get it as it has all the features I want and much more. I don't know anything about DJing so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Any Apple keyboard shortcuts for Djay 2?
All I can say is outstanding. I downloaded this app today and was able to easily mix/scratch music tracks in minutes with no problem without even using the help file. All the buttons are clearly labeled so things were pretty self-explanatory using VO.
Definitely worth the $2.99 I paid for it.
My question to you guys is does this app work with the Apple Bluetooth keyboard? I mean being able to have shortcut keys to perform tasks like Sync, Stop/Pause the left or right deck, adjust the cross fader etc would make this app even more accessible.
If there are shortcut keys especially made for the Apple Bluetooth keyboard for accessing some of the common functions of this Djay 2 app, can someone here please post a link or file containing all of them? Thanks.
Also does the creator of this app welcome accessibility suggestions from visually impaired users? If so, how can I contact him via email?
contacting the developer
Hi
I finally figured out how to use this app. I know how to mix music, but that's basically it. To contact the developers regarding accessibility, if you touch the top center of your screen there is a recordings button. Swipe right once and you should land on the help button. Once in the help screen there will be a button that says contact support. Hope this helps.
If you have questions on how to mix music feel free to ask.

automix
Hi Augustu, my main question is, when I do an automix and use a playlist, is there a way to skip through the songs, say if one comes up that you don't like or hear constantly? Is there a better way to mix than using automix? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Guy
Auto mixing mode
Hi Guyster,
In the auto mix screen, there should be an item that says something like queue, 0 songs. You can select the songs that you want mixed from the screen that comes up when you double tap. Also if you're having trouble with auto mix working correctly, you can turn on auto sync bpm, set trigger before end to 10 seconds, and length as 10 seconds. All of this can be found in the transition screen found in the auto mix screen.
Hope this helps.
