Accessibility Comments

This is a mixed bag in terms of accessibility. Take note that when you first install the app you are prompted to select a favorite team. If this is a new install, the only way I found to get past this was tu turn VoiceOver off, tap someplace on the screen to select a random team and then turn VoiceOver on. You can change this preference on www.nfl.com and then sign in to your account with the iOS app.

My focus was on trying to listen to the game audio for my audiopass subscription. From what I've found you need to select the game and be quick because focus keeps moving off the games as the screen updates. If you manage to select the game, there will be a button to listen and then options to select the home or away feed. This is still very rough but slightly better from last year's verion.
This is by no means an overly usable app but if you work at it you can get some stuff done.

Also be aware that at least for me on both an iPhone and an iPad the app is crashing quite frequently when VoiceOver is running.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some accessibility issues with this app, but it can still be used if you are willing to tolerate these issues and learn how to work around them.

Considering the NFL is an 8 Billion dollar behemoth I wonder how many billions it would take them to actually make something fully accessible for VoiceOver users. They have a long history of ignoring any feedback about VoiceOver and why I will continue to use and find any app that steals their feeds for games. Pretty pathetic on the NFL's part considering their counterpart has made huge strides in making sure their MLB at bat is mostly accessible

There used to be a way to share articles, but, now, when I click on an article, I can no longer find a "share" option.

Is there no longer a "share" option for anyone, or has it just suddenly become inaccessible to VoiceOver users? Or, is it somehwere where I'm not looking?

Does anyone know how you can add a "favorite team" to the app with the latest update?

OK, so, I think I've checked all the appropriate options for getting score change notifications during games for my favorite teams. However, I don't seem to be getting them.

Is this any accessibility issue or am I doing something else wrong?
