hey all, if we have the wwdc app on our phones, can we also stream it through that?

By Greg Wocher on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 - 02:19

Hello,
I am fairly certain the WWDC app will allow you to watch the stream. Another option is to watch it live with the TWIT app. There will be commentary using the TWIT app but it is usually pretty good.

I'm wondering why one of the sources of information listed in this article is dealing with rumors, or am I misundersanding? I don't want to hear about what is or was rumored. I just want to know what is, not what some people think will be. Thanks.

I think the confusion arose because some of the information was sourced by MacRumors.

Though the Mac Rumors name does indeed have the word "Rumors" in it, they do publish a great deal of fact-based Apple information. In fact, the reporting from Mac Rumors is some of the more neutral Apple news coverage around when compared to the sources who flaunt exclusive access left and right.

In terms of the keynote coverage, we chose Mac Rumors because they have a dedicated account specifically for live-tweeting of Apple events and, we assume, they were actually there in person. Their great descriptions of the visual elements of the presentations also helped with this.

From what I can tell, iOS 8.4's build will be somewhere around the 12h4074 region, according to the beta 1 ipsw filename. I'm looking forward to it immensely, but even more excited about iOS 9
