Hello,

You can try an app called Calm Radio. It has multiple channels that range from meditation and relaxation to world music.

HTH and good luck.

There is an app called Storm sim that is very accessible. I use it when my ears drive me crazy because of the tinitis. It is' fully customizable, from the type of rain to the types of thunder and how often they occur if ever, and they have preset storm types as well. This is the only storm app that I use, and though I never want just rain, that's definitely doable. HTH.

Thre' an app I used to use for that. i have to look in my list I have to see if it is still in the app store or not, but it used to help me go in to hypnosis for certain things.

Good luck.

I use an app called Sleep Stream 2. This app developer has several versions of this particular app so choose wisely. This app not only has rain and thunder but many other things such as stream, ocean, and sea sounds, brain wave sounds for energizing or relaxing, and some built-in music, as well. On the download tab of the app, it can be finicky but it's worth the slight inconvenience. On all other tabs, everything is selected by the picker item. Quite accessible. Highly recommended because of the wide variety of options.

Hi!
Sleep bug is by far the best app I've come across for this use.
It has a rain scene with customizable sound-effects, and it has several other scenes suitable both for relaxing, meditating and falling a sleep.
It also has a sleep timer that works well with VoiceOver, which I think is a huge benefit.
The app is very compatible with VoiceOver and the developer is also very open for suggestions, so I would certainly check it out! :)
There's a free version with a great number of different scenes to choose from, and there's also a paid pro version with even more scenes.
Here's the AppleVis entry for the app:
