The standard Youtube app is accessible. Its interface is a bit odd but it's no more odd than the interface on Youtube.com. At any rate, the only quirk I've found is that one cannot always delete videos from a playlist or one's favorites if Youtube has deleted it. One must delete the video from the playlist/favorites on the YOutube website. Other than this, I've had no problems once I got used to the interface.

Have you had the problem where you cannot actually read how much time has passed I need you to video, it says access.seconds access.minutes but does not actually review the numbers? Or is that just me?

Youplayer works very well. They had some bugs in the last update which have since been fixed. I have tried many youtube players and this one is, for me, by far the best. The only thing I don't think it can do is upload videos. HTH

I can't find the YouTube app at all. is there a version for mac? If so, from where can I download this app?

there is no official youtube app for the mac. I find that youtube.com now works just fine and you can access video controls pretty easily thanks to html5.

At one time, YouPlayer was my favorite. Then there was an issue where it would randomly throw you into the app store while playing a video. So I got rid of it and downloaded ProTube, which works well.

Na .... folks here are thinking that you're asking for application suggestions for IOS.
May be changing the post subject will help to make sure the next responses are directed towards Mac OS.
I personally have not found any good youtube app for the os platform yet.
However, as noted by others, the access to the youtube site with safari and voiceover is now much better than what it once was, so I would suggest you to try using it.
As for playlists and such I have no idea if the youtube website provides this kind of functionality. If it doesn't, I suggest you make a search on app store *** there were at least some time ago lots of them, I just did not have patience to go test them one by one to see if any of them works accessibly with VO..
