Is anyone having this bug? When I go to check how much space is on my hard-drive, voice over says that I have 141 TB left. I know that taht is not right. When I go to disk utility, it actually says how much space I have. I was wondering if this is just a bug in 10.0.3? Please let me know. Thanks and have a good day.

Out of curiosity, do you use the Get Info command whilst focused on the hard disk by way of the Computer window [Command-Shift-C] to fetch this information? It does not matter but it never hurts to enquire. This is something I have never encountered so it very may well be a bug. Personally, I very much prefer and found a way to switch the display of units from base 10 to base 2 with IEC units but that may or may not make a difference. I just started to use Path Finder on 02 May 2015 and have yet to encounter that supposed bug. If your hard disk is in good health [this may or may not make a difference] my speculation is that it is in fact a bug.

There is some strange bug that displays greater free space than the disk's capacity when the information is displayed on the desktop. For example, I have an approximate 241 MiB SD card and it some times says approximately 245 MiB is free. Of course this is not possible. The only thing I can suggest is submitting feedback via the Feedback app installed with beta builds or when automatic submission of diagnostic data is enabled via System Preferences | Security and Privacy. I use Path Finder now which circumvents the annoying bug.

Strange; I'm not having this issue. Whether or not I use the desktop or the Computer browser I get exactly the same results.

I have not seen this either. Maybe repair disk permissions? That sometimes irons out the weird stuff going on at times, especially if you upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite.
To do that, do the following:
<ol>
<li>When in the Finder, press CMD-Shift-U to go to Utilities.</li>
<li>Go down to disk Utility, then press Command-O</li>
<li>Interact with the table using VO-Shift-down arrow, then use VO-down arrow to move to the partition you wish to repair</li>
<li>When you are on the desired partition, use VO-Shift-up arrow to stop interacting and VO-Right to make sure the "First Aid" tab is selected</li>
<li>Press VO-right arrow to move to the Repair Permissions button</li>
<li>Press VO-Space, and wait</li>
</ol>
In some cases, it will complain really hard at you and say that it can't repair them. In this case, simply restart your Mac and hold down Command-R for a little while passed the startup chime, then turn on VoiceOver. Move down to Disk Utility in the table, then press the Continue button and do the same steps outlined above.
Hopefully this will help. if not, we're not out of options yet.

I just had my drive to the desktop, in above is not there anymore. And I did disk permissions repair.
