Hi folks,
I know it sounds a little strange, but its worth a discussion: What do you think about a low vision magnifier for Apple Watch, that gives you the freedom to control a magnifier app on your iPhone from your wrist? Good, or bad idea?
Thanks for your comments!

Struggling with this one right now
I am always keen to explore new ways of making my life easier (smiles)
However, I must admit that I am really struggling with this one right now.
Unless I have the iPhone in a stand, it means that I have to hold it my hand and be free to move that hand over whatever I am trying to magnify. That leaves me wondering how I am going to operate the Watch with the other hand, keep the iPhone camera pointing where it needs to point, be able to view the iPhone’s screen, and all in a way that doesn’t end up tying myself up quite literally in knots.
So, if I correctly understand what you have in mind, I am afraid that this is one of those ideas which might be best left on the drawing board (smile)
If I did have the iPhone in a stand, it’s possible that being able to remotely control the magnifier via the Watch might offer something in certain scenarios. However, probably not in my own use case.
Hi Pete
Hi Pete,
(laugh) I fully agree with you. It doesn't make much sense at all. You say, you're having your phone in a stand, what kind of stand do you use?
And how about having this feature to pan an already taken picture with your low vision aid, while watching it on your couch via AirPlay? Too much constructed.. isn't it!?
Thank you for your answer.
