Hello everyone,
I've had this game on my phone for a while now, but figured I'd try it again and remembered why I stopped playing. While most buttons are unlabled it's doable up to a certain point. I complete the first four quests, "Service to the Crown", and level up to two. Once I level up to two, the fun begins. First of all, the game takes you into the "Lorebook" screen, where you're supposed to be able to choose a noble title--from the power screen, the next one from Fledgling is "Learner", but I'm not sure how to choose it.
Also, the game tells me I have to name the keep--the one you just took control of in the previous quest. Does anyone know how to go about doing this though? Apps with unlabled buttons aren't an issue, heck I got through a lot of Monster Kingdom before the story got kind of boring.
I just need to figure out what to click on. Battling seems reasonably accessible, as you just choose an action and click go. The battle itself is performed automaticly with text snippets of what your Sworn Sword--AKA your men are doing.

GT ascent...
Well, didn't know anyone else had tried this because of its rather inaccessibility problems, but this game is driving me crazy and I think I accidentally skipped a couple of the quests, but won the one with the keep from the slavers. I wonder if there's a way to delete previous history and start from beginning, but might have to uninstall and install app again for that. Anyway, I got stuck too and you need lots of patience to work around this game, so I'm still playing with it. I've almost got all the buttons figured out as they don't seem to change places and the unlabeled things right under the buildings and such so once I get that down, I will post the order here. On my device its swiping up and down for some reason instead of side to side like normal games and I'm running an iPod 5 gen. Going to find that monster kingdom one and give it a try too. Don't mind unlabeled buttons as much as most even though not good enough sight to read the screen, but stuff like this I find a challenge.

Hello there, I'm the Community Director at Disruptor Beam for Game of Thrones Ascent, and I am working with the designers to make this correction to the game to make it more accessible. I appreciate whomever has taken the time to bring this to our attention through our support system!
Hopefully you'll have this working better for you in an upcoming build within a few weeks.
If you need anything else in the meantime, please contact us via http://support.disruptorbeam.com.
Thank you.
Star Trek Timelines
Well, it's great that we'll have GOT accessible soon, but man I really hope something can be done to make Star Trek: Timelines playable at launch--that game sounds epic.
New GOT build
Hi everyone,
I just looked in my updates, and a new GOT build just came out for iOS. Is this the build with accessibility fixes? I still find the UI quite confusing.
The layout
Hi all,
Has anyone figured out the layout of this? I still can't get my head around it. There hasn't been a build released and the one that was recently released didn't include accessibility fixes.
Not really. They just
Not really. They just released another build on last thursday or so. However, this doesn't have any new access features. I love the game, and it's line, but I'm gonna wait on playing until I hear more on accessibility later on.

I'm not sure how big
I'm not sure how big Disruptor Beam is, but since they are the ones doing Star Trek and GOT I imagine they're big enough. I don't think you all realize, but this is quite the turning point in the accessibility of mainstream iOS gaming. Kudos to the devs for caringto

Ok so yesterday I download the game and I'm stuck after making a character.
What should I do?
Response from GoTA Team
Hello all, I apologize that it has been a while. The person who was working on this issue is no longer with the team and I've forwarded your requests and comments to our Producer in the hopes we can continue to improve the game's accessibility for you all. I appreciate your patience and feedback.
Thank you,
~ Katie
Hi Katie
Hi Katie
Thanks for delivering our speech to game developers, You're an awesome community director.
Please let us know of any updates, I'm curious to know if the app is going to be worked on
Some bad news, perhaps?
Well, I saw tweets on the DisruptorBeam Twitter account that they were looking for a new Community Manager. I hope this means Katie, our accessibility advocate, hasn't left/been fired. Have any of you, despite the accessibility problems, been able to repair/rename your keep?
Thanks.
Some great news, followed by some bad news
Hi everyone,
The good news is that I have finally been able to repair the dang Keep. You know that tutorial message that says "Next, we must repair the keep"? Simply navigate to the word "repair" with VOiceOver on word navigation and double tap repair. You can then name your castle.
But here's the bad news: I'm stumped after that. The tutorial tries to show you about power, which I assume is like XP in this game. It says, Tap here to "view your power rating". "view" is the thing to navigate and double tap here, but then the tutorial messages are gone and I have no clue what to do. The next level, level three, seems clickable but does not do anything. The levels are listed from whatever your next level is to around 79 or so. Since the tutorial message seems to disappear, I have no clue what to do on this screen. Anyone have any ideas?
HTH.
how to play
Hi:
I've seen several references to GOT on AppleVis as playable. So I downloaded it to try.
Notmuch luck so far. The unlabeled buttons are a pain, and nothing opens when I press any of them. What am I missing?
Oi...
Well guys, it was three years ago, but dang I can't believe I said that I hope Katie was fired! I edited the post but hope that didn't do any damage as far as getting responses from support. Star Trek is completely inaccessible and so is the Walking Dead game.
I think any accessibility from Disruptor Beam is dead in the water. I hope not though, and i'm proven wrong on that.
