If you are familiar with the terminal you can also use wget. I've ben doing this now for folders I often download and wrote a script to jut do it for me with a few key presses. It's built right in to the mac and you just have to have some unix knowledge.
if you are willing to pay 30 USD or EUR , I recommend Commander One Pro. It's not only a FTP client, but also quite powerful and simple to use file manager, archiving tool and more.
Although paid clients are great, we should adivocate for accessibility on the fileZilla client.
It is fully accessible but the file browser, which renders the whole thing kind of totally unusable. On Windows it is wonderful ...
They're using WX widgets for the most part. I have no idea why the file browser is not accessible on Mac. But once and if it ever becomes accessible it will fit most users needs I think.
