Audioshot™ is a free, simple and fun way to send songs from your music service through Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and more.
Share with friends your current song or browse through your music listening history and send it as text message for them to listen to on their phone.
You can send music directly from your keyboard if you install the AudioShot keyboard (settings - general - keyboard - add new keyboard - select Audioshot and "allow full access"). This works like any other keyboard extension (such as emoji).
The AudioShot keyboard has the blue "Audioshot icon" which toggles to a tray showing the user's song history. Song thumbnails can be dragged and dropped into messages and a link to listen to the song will automatically populate.
A user can also send music from within the AudioShot app using the search feature or by browsing through the listening history.
The keyboard and app will show a user's listening history from songs played in iTunes, spotify, Rhapsody, etc. In order to pull your listening history from the streaming services you MUST login with Facebook and ensure your permissions are set to allow your listening history to publish to Facebook.
If you don't have Facebook then when you log into Audioshot you select "log in with iTunes only" (this appears in smaller font below the Facebook log in).
Jessica, in a couple of your posts you have made reference to visual aspects of the app when offering help - such as the blue Audioshot icon and the smaller font used for the iTunes login. I don’t mean to be rude, but you do realize that this website is primarily for blind and low vision users who rely on VoiceOver to use apps? So, these references won’t actually be of much help.
