A stupid question perhaps - but didnʻt find an answer:
does iPod Nano work with BARD Mobile app?
Or can I somehow transfer the BARD books to it?
Also does Overdrive for Libraries work with it?
My old VO-less nano is becoming rather unusable (I know how it works but canʻt see it and donʻt want to deal with it), so... wondering - would one of the Nanos be any good? I would want to use it with music for running, audio movies - AND especially audiobooks and study materials - BARD or Overdrive so I could actually have a control over the speed in which Iʻll be reading.
I can also use my Mac & iTunes to synchronize stuff. But because I have BARD, Iʻve got zero desire to play with Audible etc.

The nanos don't work with
The nanos don't work with bard. As far as I know anyway, they are old designs. Personally, stick with the iPhone or iPod touch new ones for listening to bard books as thats the only i devices they will work on, and the iPad also. But yeah the iPod nano doesn't work with playing NLS bard books.
Yes, bard mobile is for iOS
Yes, BARD Mobile is only available for iOS at this point. Sorry.
Thanks
Thanks guys.
The new(er than mine without VO) Nanos look kind of cool, but without those features they would be quite useless.
I wish BARD player could also work with locked screen to save battery - because if I go run/wal I have to switch it to a different case unless I want to have the phone on my hands (not my preferred way to walk or run or take a public transport, dʻoh)...
If I'm reading your comment
If I'm reading your comment right you want to be able to play books while the screen is locked? Well, you can do that with bard and all other music apps. I think theres a option somewhere in the settings screen like play audio while locked or something. I'm not sure exactly!
Yes books will play when the iPhone's screen is locked
Yep, books will play when the iPhone's screen is locked, but it's not turned on by default. To fix this, go to settings, and then audio settings and switch background playback to on. Hope that helps!
