Unable to pair IPhone with a BAUM VarioConnect 12 braille display

Hi. I just got a new Braille Display (VarioConnect12 from BAUM). In order to try it out, I went to the Braille menu under VO, activated bluetooth, found the display and entered pin 1234. After a second VoiceOver said that pairing was unsuccessful, and that VO was "unable to read the driver" for the particular braille device. So, I was wondering if anyone could help me out on that? From all I know the display should be VO accessible, but the strange thing is that I have the same problem whenever I try to pair the MAC and Supervario 40. So I suppose it's me doing something wrong? Thanks for reading. :)

Nina, I just looked at some information on the Baum USA website. Instead of using the 4 numbers 1 2 3 4, try 1 1 1 1. When I looked at information about the Baum UltraVario Braille displays, instructions were given about how to connect that particular braille display via bluetooth with devices (IPhones, etc), and those four numbers (1 1 1 1) were given as part of the instructions. What I do not know is if those four numbers are uniformly used when pairing all of the Baum braille displays via bluetooth with IPhones and other devices. Good luck, and I hope this helps.

Hi. You might want to see if there's a firmware update you're not aware of. good luck, I loved looking at those last year in Vegas.
