I've just downloaded Spotify onto my iPhone and started to experiment with the free version to see what it's like and if I'll be able to use it.
I found a few issues with VoiceOver and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced them or has a possible way to work around these issues. They are as follows:
When Playing the song, I can't seem to find the next track buttons.
When double tapping the context menu button for a song and pressing start radio to play it, sometimes a completely different song will play. I don't know if this is a VoiceOver issue or I'm just pressing the wrong option to play a track?
When playing a track, If I manage to find the next track button, it doesn't play the next track in my playlist but goes to a suggested song. Is this because I'm using the free version or is this another issue with the app?

When you are using the free version of spotify you are probably playing the tracks in shuffle mode that is why it is going to other tracks instead of the next track after the currently playing track.
Now if you want to get to the next track you can also do that by tapping the status bar and then swiping up with three fingers to open control center.
Then swipe to the next track button and then double tap.

Oh right, would using the free version also be the reason for a completely different track playing to the one I thought I clicked to play from a specific playlist?

No, you don't want to click the start radio button. This starts a radio station similar to Pandora, where it will play others like that band. With the free account, you can play all the songs from a specific artist. So you will want to search for a band/singer and double tap on there name, then find the shuffle play button. you won't be able to play specific songs or albums. the same goes for playlists. I always use the lock screen to control Spotify's play.

I'm trying it out as I'm on it. I think the inability to skip tracks in the free version is not a good idea, but I might be the odd one out here lol! Can I though double tap on an artist in my playlist then pick the song that way or is that a paid feature as well? I was a bit confused when I read the premium features on the app.

How accessible is Spotify on the web? Does anyone use it that way?

Spotify is usible on the web but its clunky, inefficient, and slow. Then again, this is coming from someone who doesn't like going on webcites to get music. Unfortunitely, chosing specific songs from playlists is also a paid feature only, unless you have an iPad, or other tablet. Then apparently you can pick specific songs, but still get the adds. on the phone however, all you can do is radio stations, and shuffle artests, albums, or playlists, but in shuffle mode only.

for both unlimited and premium users, there will be no ads, and you can listen to whatever you want.
premium users can enjoy features such as offline listening and spotify connect, which i covered in a diferent potcast here that lets you control your computer playback with your phone, which is totally cool.

Another question I've got since I used the app more. When in the menu I clock on my name, it then says my name, how many playlists I have, how many followers and how many people I follow. But how can I see who exactly follows me and who I follow?
Buttons in Your Music
How can I get the sort by button and the search field to display with VO in Spotify? I thought they had disappeared, but they were back this morning for one session. Then when I reopened the app they disappeared again.
