Hello,
I was wondering if a few of you that owns Bluetooth headset, either the one or two ear models, can confirm something for me. My Bluetooth headset broke so I can’t test this.
Music, calls and VO steams to the headset. Does the VO sound effects like clicks and bumps go to the headset or does it go to the iPhone speaker? When the phone rings, do you hear it on the headset? Are there any other sounds that does not go to the headset?
Thanks for all your help.
David

I hear it all.
On my Plantronics M55, and Sony MW600, all sounds including Voice Over, alert tones, music, and VO sounds come only through the earpieces. When the phone rings, I hear it on the ear pieces, and the phone's speaker.
My experience
I have an iPad Air and use Bluetooth stereo headphones. I do not have a phone, so I don't know how phone features work, but for me, everything comes through on the headphones except when I use the iPad's timer. When the timer expires, the Bluetooth audio is shut off and the alert tone, along with VoiceOver, comes out of the internal speaker only. After the alert is dismissed, audio returns to the headphones.
Cool!
Thanks Dpinwi and DVDmth for getting me the info I was looking for.
I am still trying to figure out what my made for iPhone hearing aids are suppose to do and not do. I call Apple and I get one story while the HA manufacturer tells me something else. Apparently, this technology is still fairly new and no one has brought up any VO issues yet.
Thanks again!
