Looking for New App Ideas

Hi everyone,

I'm a student working with a team of other students trying to develop an app specifically for the blind community. As we're researching all of this, I wanted to get some feedback from all of you about what kinds of things you'd like to be able to do on your phone but can't currently. Is there anything that you've found to be seriously lacking on your phone? Anything that's possible but still difficult? Anything that's easy for sighted people but which you haven't found a good solution to?

Thanks for your help!

I would love to play some of the multi-user games that are mostly graphics. Games that build towns and have people in them and villages and you can play likes sims and stuff.

Thanks for asking!

Hello,
I do not know where in the world you are researching IOS apps but in the UK the Royal National Institute of the Blind (RNIB) have a large library of audio books that have just gone digital which means we can download them directly on to our iPhones and iPads. However, the only viable app that offers download, returns, playing and other services (the Overdrive app) is not that accessible, as it has not been designed specifically for blind users. Therefore, an app specifically designed for blind people to download, play, return and manage audio books, not only from the RNIB but also from public and other digital libraries would be very useful.

Kind regards,

Steve.
