Description of App

Want to play Video Poker but can't look at your phone?

Blindfold Video Poker is the only Video Poker game that lets you play at work, or on the bus, or walking, or watching TV. The video poker machine tells you what cards you have and you play by tapping or swiping on the screen. Keep your eyes on the road, and a finger on the phone.

You can even make the screen black so no one sees what you are doing!

Feel the thrill of trying to win BIG against the house! Pays off at standard Jacks-Or-Better rates - up to 4,000 chips for a royal flush.

Play Video Poker in your way by configuring the game to your liking! The money used in this game is fictitious, but the strategies you will learn are priceless.

Created by the authors of Blindfold Racer, Blindfold Blackjack and Blindfold Solitaire, this game is designed for rapid audio play, and is fully accessible and does not need voice-over.

Designed for very fast audio play – you never need to look at the screen.

* Realistic sounds
* Easy to play
* Deposit coins into video poker machine just like at the casino.
* Select sounds for dealing cards or spinning reels.
* Uses trusted shuffling algorithm - there is no "fixing" here!
* Many configuration options

Accessibility Comments

Like the other games from Kid Friendly Software, this game is totally accessible. When rejecting cards, you can use Voiceover-style commands (i.e. flick with one finger to find the card you want to reject, and double-tap to toggle whether it's rejected or not). Speaking of Voiceover, it can be left enabled, and will be bypassed during gameplay. The only time you'll need it is in the Settings screen or when reading the User Guide.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.

Other Comments

This game is very challenging, and most of the time I end up losing my money, but I enjoy playing it. Like Blindfold Blackjack, there are in-app purchases for getting more chips, or you can buy an Unlimited option so you won't have to keep waiting until the next day to play if you run out.

This game doesn't allow you to play with other people does it? I don't have any experience with the blind fold games, but I would like an accessible multi player poker game, other then blind adrenaline.

No, you can't play against other players. From what I've read about video poker machines, they're not multiplayer either.

A video poker machine isn't a standard game of poker. it's a 5 card draw style of poker, and you simply play against the machine. A video poker machine is more like a slot machine and less like a conventional poker game.

This is a great game. Just one suggestion, it would be good if the balance could be announced when first loading the game, like it does in Blindfold Blackjack.

What's New in Version 1.2.2

Raised daily new chips from 5 to 10.
Minor bug fixes.

I ran into a similar problem on the Blindfold Solitaire game.
It says my chips will be replenished each day, but each time I check, they aren't. Is it automatic or am I supposed to do something?
Is it a calendar day or 24 hrs from when you last played?

It seems tomorrow equals 24 hours since you ran out of chips. That certainly applies to the daily bonus.
