BARD Mobile and iOS 8

I used the BARD Mobile app to download books more than my desktop computer when the app came out. However, since upgrading to iOS 8 on my iPod Touch 5th generation, I have had problems under Get Books. After I have heard the first 50 books in a list, I double tap "Load more." After that, I swipe up with three fingers to hear the next page. At that point, BARD Mobile usually closes and takes me back to my Home screen. Has anyone else experienced this? I have tried with all three version of iOS 8. I am currently using 8.1.2.

I noticed this exact same problem the other day. I was also trying to move down the list of recently added books. I used to have other problems with this app crashing all over the place but recent updates to iOS 8 seemed to fix those other problems. But this one still hangs around with iOS 8.1.2.

I have had it happen that I started download on this app, and then it gets too if your percentages and completely stops. It will only restart if I start playing. Or if I play a book while everything is downloading it seems to download faster. Anyone else have this happen?

Sometimes the app closes when I am looking for a book.
IF download progress stops, double taap on it on your wish list and it should resume.

Bard's had a lot of issues of late, as they were down pretty much all night on Saturday, and all day Sunday. They're back now and everything should be ok. I've seen some of the stuff you guys mentioned like downloads stopping, etc. I've found that it's best to keep the app open wwhile you're downloading a book. If it's in the background the download stops for whatever reason. Re-opening the app and bringing it to the foreground continues the download.

I usually find book through the computer and add them to my wish list, then download them. So I haven't worked with the book list much. I have a different problem. It seems to happen only once, but once in every book I start. at some point in the book it will jump back to a section near the beginning. As yet I haven't identified a common factor in these incidents.

I have downloaded on my Windows PC and imported using iTunes. However, the latest version of iTunes has caused another stumbling block. I now cannot find the document share where I used to hit Add File. I do not think this is covered in the podcast Jaws 16 and iTunes 12.
