Hi.
I was wondering how IOS 8.1.2, in your opinion, works on an iPhone 4S. I also would like to know how to increase the battery life? Sometimes the phone dies at 41%.
Thank you for your help.
Have a nice day and weekend.

Hey Becca.
I've got a friend that is running 8.1.2 on her 4S, and it seems snappy to her. Also, to increase battery life, use screen curtain if possible, and dim the display backlight under the control center. Also, if you use bluetooth or WiFi, turn them off once you are done using them to save a little extra battery. Also, close any running apps that you are not currently using.
HTH, and have a great day!

Hello,

In terms of IOS 8.1.2 on an iPhone 4, it’s a mixed bag. If you do a search on this website for IOS 8 and iphone 4, you will find a lot of comments. But it appears most people preferred 7.x and wished they could go back.

As far as the battery, it sounds like you have a battery to OS sync problem. Your OS thinks the battery is still at 41 when the battery is actually at 1. Try running down the phone until it turns off. Turn the phone back on and try to run it down again. Keep doing this until the phone will no longer turn on. Then plug the phone in overnight. Repeat the run down process and recharge it again overnight . A lot of work but this is what fixed it for me.

HT and good luck.
