Hi. I'm cconsidering purchasing the iPad Air 2! After the screen on my iPad Air shattered quite easily! I am wondering if it's worth investing in the latest iPad as I need a screen which is more solid than the one that is on the iPad Air. If both screens are the same then I may purchase the iPad 4 which seems to be quite durible and I was happy with that model when I had it before passing it on to my son. I hope someone can answer my query on here.

the only real differences between the iPad air and iPad air 2 is the screen laminate which is applied to reduce glare. the screen is just as breakable as the iPad air.

Hi. I won't waste my money on it then. I'm going to source a iPad 4 and will never update IOS on it and hope it lasts me up to 3 years. I just want a larger screen for apps like the BBC iPlayer and Youtube plus I like to stream music wirelessly without having to be disturbed by contacts in my phone!
