The good: it was indeed easy to configure. I run an asterisk server and also have SIP service with callwitus.com. I had no trouble setting it up to work with both; asterisk when I'm home and callwithus when I'm away.
And the audio quality was also superb. It was much louder than the native phone app which makes cellular calls on my iPHONE 5c. Also works great on my iPOD Touch 4g though the Touch has a less effective microphone.
Selecting the contacts tab lets me work with contacts just as I do using cellular calling. Selecting a contact automatically opens it and selecting a number automatically dials it. Haven't figured out though how to get Siri to dial with it and that may not be possible.
Though Media5-Phone might have slightly improved audio quality, I haven't tried all the codecs yet. It's using about 15MB of data every half hour. It has a recording feature wich inserts a beep every 15 seconds to tell the caller that a recording is being made. The recordings are easily accessed within the app, and can be also easily deleted.
The bad: When I dial a system where I have to enter multiple touchtones, say to navigate an IVR, the keypad disappears. Once I'm on the call, I have buttons for speaker, camera, record and mute. (It can make video calls as well.) I have tabs for contacts, settings, favorites and quickdial, but no keypad. If I've pre-entered the IVR touchtone sequences in the contact's phone field, separated by commas for pauses, that works, but I can't figure out how to manually get a keypad back once I've initiated a call.

There is also a tab for quick dial which populates the screen with unlabeled buttons. This quick dial screen is totally inaccessible.

i don't have acrobits but i have groundwire made by the same developer. the two apps are very similar except groundwire has more function. on groundwire the keypad button is left to the record button, there are only two buttons on this row. if i were to bet my money, i would think you can find the keypad button somewhere on your screen, too.

as for quick dial, the buttons are unlabeled because you have not added anything. tap one of the button, and you'll be able to populate it with contact info. once you're done, the unlabeled button will be replace with the name of the contact.

What about wired headset support? Can I, for example, accept or decline calls using hedset button?
