I just upgraded and now my little apple Bluetooth keyboard isn't working. I'm sad! Any help?

I've been using bluetooth keyboards a lot with iOs 8.1.1, and have had no real deal breakers. There was a time when I was texting a friend that there was a quite noticeable lag in speech, but it worked out well in the end. Other than that issue occurring once, no real problems here.

Yes. Bug exists with Apple IPhone 5S. It is difficult to find keyboard unless Quick nav is turned off. We have to turn it on again once we finished typing. It is really frustrating and apple accessibility team must fix this bug.

Ok so you turn quick nav off, type your thing and turn it back on. 5 seconds out of your day. Quit wwhining.

This is my first phone and I am not sure what a nav bar is, how to use it or get to it or turn it off and on.

Any advice?

Thanks for helping!

Hi to everyone
Well recently bought an apple wireless keyboard last week and to be honest haven't seen many changes seenc iOS7 using bluetooth keyboards
to the person who is new on using bluetooth or apple devices to turn off quick mav just hit left and right arrows at the same time and to enable just repeat the process.
One of the multiple voiceOver bugs using bluetooth keyboards are the following:
^ using voiceOver and bluetooth keyboard the device became slower/lag .
^ When hit VO Plus H to get out and return to the home or main screen sometime the iPhone crash but not always
Other on that I'm happy with the
apple wireless keyboard.
NOTE: when experience issues when type sentences and voiceOver repeat multiple times the same leter but you just hit once the leter on the bluetooth keyboard sometimes is because you make changes under settings app
settings//General//accessibility//voiceOver
oor use braille settings under this windows to fix it just
go to
settings// Bluetooth
and forget this device
and just pair again it.

i also have problems with my bluetooth keyboard. i can type two messages, then i have to either connect the kibord again, or turn voiceover off and then turn it on again. does anybody know how i contact apple accessibility

Hi. Just to explain a little bit, quick nav doesn't involve any kind of navigation bar or anything. In this case, quick nav is a faster way to navigate using VoiceOver and a keyboard. With quick nav turned on you can use the left and right arrow keys and navigate without having to hold any other keys down. Hope that helps a bit.

I have been using a blue tooth keyboard with my iPad for quite sometime. Now that I have upgraded to I O S 8.2 the keyboard will not work when voice over is on. Any suggestions? Can the upgrade be uninstalled? Can Quick Nav be used with the iPad? If so how do you activate it? I appreciate any assistance you can offer. Thanks

I just bought an iPhone 6 and my Apple keyboard produces double letters intermittently. This has been reported to Apple. Any work around?

I also get double letters on occasion. Turning VoiceOver off and back on is the only way I know of to reselve the issue when it comes up. I have no idea what causes the issue to occur.

I read Marco's post and find that any time I change the bluetooth setting, the phone messes up unless I restart the phone. Restarting fixes the problem.
