Hello, everyone.
I cannot activate the button labeled "MenuOpen" in Rhapsody Version 3.12. A sighted family member can occasionally manage it with VoiceOver turned off. I imagine that without menu functionality, some of the features of Rhapsody are unavailable to visually impaired users or are at least hard to locate. I'm a new user who has managed to find a good deal of accessible options, but this menu failure is perplexing. I am using an iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1.2. All help is appreciated.

workaround for the open menu button problem
In order to get to the menu button you have to find the menu button, and then flickthree fingers to the right. That should get you to all of the items underneath the menu button. If the items don't show up right away, repeat the process. Keep in mind that you might have to find the items via touch exploration. Hope this helps
It Worked; One More Question
Thank you, Jeremy. The three-finger right flick works perfectly. I would have never thought to use this scrolling gesture. Is there some kind of visual indication on the screen that would suggest the appropriateness of the flick? Knowing what to look for would be helpful if a sighted person and I ever encounter a similar situation with another app. Perhaps the non-VoiceOver user has to scroll right also, which would answer the question of why my sighted family member had difficulty in activating the option consistently via a simple tap.
No idea.
I am the only one that uses this up in my house.so I wouldn't be able to tell you if there is any visual indications on screen
How Did You Figure it Out?
I'm wondering what gave you the idea of scrolling to the right where, it seems to me, intuition would not have pushed in that direction. I ask in the interest of picking up a tip that will aid me in future app exploration.

Play button not being read by voiceover
Hello!
Since we are speaking about Rhapsody and I know this is an older post, I do what to say that I've noticed that in several of the versions updates. They have broken voiceover's access for Rhapsody. The play button used to be read by Voiceover. I have told them this by both telephone call, and by e-mail. All they want to do is keep giving me a free month. Is there a work around on how to get the play button read by VoiceOver until Rhapsody decides to fix accessibility again?
I am running the latest IOS, and the latest version of Rhapsody on an IPod touch fifth generation unit.
