Hello all,
I've now had my iPhone 6 for about a month now and it has been working great. However, I now have a problem which I cannot work out!
My last e-mail on my iPhone 6 was about 10.58 (UK time) this morning but that is it. The last update was 4.36 am this morning (the indication at the bottom of the screen). At 11.15 AM this morning, my IT department at the University where I work did an upgrade for me from MS Office 2010 to MS Office 2013 and I believe this could be connected to the problem.
The next e-mail I got in on my University lap top was 11.48 AM but that did not come on to my iPhone. The upgrade was complete at 11.40 AM.
The question is: I am using an iPhone 6, running IOS 8.1 and the university exchange server running MS Outlook 2013, is this the problem? The e-mail is still arriving on my work and my home lap tops.
Thank you,
Steve.

One thing to try, especially if you are not able to use any network services at all, is to simply turn off the phone and turn it back on.

email problems
This isnt something that a site for accessible apps can help you with. Your exchange email administrator is going to be your best and quickest source for help. Even those of us with actual exchange certifications can't help you as we know nothing about the server infrastructure. We can give you the usual, reboot your phone, check your username and password are correct, but beyond that, its time to talk to the people in charge of the exchange support group within your organization.
I tried your suggestion and it worked!
Thank you all,
I did the turn-off thing and it worked straight away. My problem is that I always think the problem is worse than it is. I knew about the need to switch-off and to delete apps and re-install but always ask the question because I always think: oh no, I've got a big problem!
Thank you all anyway and I guess a new version of MS Office required a reset.
