hi. i know there is i cloud for windows now, but do you think there will be the ex code ide for windows? i do not own a mac, and a steep learning curve to learn voice over, then xcode, doing a college degree, diploma of software development from http://www.tafesa.edu.au. so, and they do development for i phone, android, windows, etc. marvin from australia. ps: tried to contact apple support or general customer care, using jaws 16, and could not get to the next page, when i clicked on say the mac button, and just clickable graphics. and tried the australian apple stores, but, tried the apple online, took me to the same page. so is there an e-mail address for apple support, or developer support or customer care. thanks.

There is, nor will there probably ever be a XCode for windows. As for the steep learning curve for voice over. There really is no learning curve. It's all pattern driven. I learned how to navigate basic stuff and was taking notes in class the very next day with about 4 hours of a lot of practice.
I would contact accessibibility@apple.com and just submit your feedback there as that seems to be the best way to get hold of them, or call the apple accessibility hot line.

XCode on Windows

I doubt Apple will ever create XCode for Windows, but this article seems to have the next best solution. I personally haven't used XCode on Windows with this method, but I know others have done it in the past. This article refers to OS X back when Macs came with installation disks, but you should be able to purchase one online from a third-party such as Amazon, eBay, etc. Once you install OS X with said disk or USB drive, you can get the latest version of OS X from the Mac App Store. As far as I know, the latest release of OS X on physical media was OS X Lion. Keep in mind, I advise you from using torrents and other means of getting it for free, as these are not legal in any way what so ever. Here is the link to the article:

As far as I know, Apple no longer sells OS X Yosemite on physical media. You would have to purchase OS X Lion online, since it still came in a USB flash drive. You could also purchase Snow Leopard on a DVD from sites such as Amazon. Either way, regardless whether you purchase Lion or Snow Leopard, you can then update OS X to Yosemite for free on the Mac App Store. As for the legality of this, it is not supported by Apple, however, as long as you "Purchase," the operating system, you should be fine. If you download it off a torrent, then that's obviously illegal.
