Hey y'all. Just a quick question. When I press command option L to bring up the downloads window in Safari on my Mac, voiceover says show downloads but the focus doesn't switch and I can't find the downloads window anywhere. I am still running Mavericks. What the heck am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for the help.:-)

Hi. Try going to the address bar, I do things confoluted ;) but stop ineracting with html, then shift tab until you hear the address bar. VO right until you should hear downloads table. interact with that. see if thathelps. if not, I might just do it and not explainhow very well. if that's the case, I'm sorry. :)

I know it's a basic question, but have you restarted Safari? The entire Mac? This happened to me once in Mavericks, and a restart put things right again.

Hey Siobhan. Thanks for you suggestion. I think it will work but the problem I have is I can't find the stupid address bar. When I Shift tab it just takes me through my open tabs, top sites, ETC. Anything else you can think of to try?

Hey guys, I figured it out. I guess somehow my toolbar got hidden. I went to the view menu and click show toolbar and was able to access my downloads and clear the folder. Thank you again for your help and suggestions. I really don't know what I would do without this website and all of its contributors. God bless.:-)
