Braille input crashes when turning IPhone

The issue i describe popped up after writing a message in WhatsApp. I love the braille input mode in IOS8, however when i move with the rotor into braille input mode now, voiceover crashes whenever the IPhone is tilted. Braille input works in table mode without problems, but as soon as the switch is made with tilting the IPhone, VO restarts. I tried to tackle this issue, and I only managed to do this by entirely resetting my IPhone and setting it up as a new one. Thus, even restoring al settings and keeping the data doesn't work.
ANy thoughts and tips about this issue? It seems that there's something on my IPhone and in the backup which causes this issue.

Hi.

Braille Screen Input has had a seriously good impact on how I use my phone but I have found crashing a serious problem. Any tilting or turning of the phone while B S I is in operation will cause it to stop operating properly. The way I have found to deal with it is to get myself into the text edit field I want to work in, turn my phone into the correct position, whether it be table top or screen away, I usually find screen away easier, then turn the rota into Braille Screen Input. When I have finished typing I exit Braille screen input before moving the phone back into portrait mode.

One other thing I will mention here is that I find having the home button on the left an inconvenience. I think I'm right in saying that in Braille Touch and MBraille the home button is to the right and I've found this much easier. I find, when I move the phone back to portrait with Braille Screen Input, all too often I'm holding it upside down.

The tilting or turning during bsi wasn't a problem at all before. Now, when my IPhone is positioned screen away and i enable bsi, it crashes instandly. Only table mode does work properly, but that mode is annoying.
Anyway, you can use bsi in screen away mode both with home button left and right, it's just what you prefer. The phone automatically positions the braille keys accordingly.

I am switching braille screen input from table top to screen away and I am not noticing any crashing issues.

Braille screen input crashes for me when I want to write an IMessage or text message only. Do you guys think it might be a bug? How could we contact Apple's accessibility team? I am using the latest version of IOs 8, so this appears to be happening since the beginning of IOS 8.

Many thanks for highlighting this. I find using BSI really helpful in many cases, most of all on the lock screen perhaps. I usually use BSI in table top mode, placing my phone on a hard surface generally, so I haven't encountered this crashing issue yet. Thanks for letting us all know.
