Hi. How do I install iTunes scripts on the latest osx. I have a script I want to use I found at: dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/ss.php?sp=droptoaddnmake and I have read the read me and tried twice to install it but I don't think it worked because it is not showing up in the iTunes menu. Thank you.

Installing iTunes scripts
I have several iTunes scripts installed. The procedure is simple, but since Apple makes the user library folder hidden by default, it gets a bit more complicated.
First, make sure you have access to the Library folder. In the Finder, press Command-Shift-H to go to the home directory, then look for a folder called Library. If you don't see one, press Command-J to show view options, then look for a checkbox called Show Library folder, or something like that. It should be there if you have Mavericks or Yosemite. Once it is checked, the Library folder should be there.
Now to install the script, first locate the script file and press Command-C to copy it. Now go the home directory, then Library, then iTunes, then Scripts. Press Command-Option-V to move the script file into the Scripts folder. That's it.
Once the script file is in that folder, open iTunes, and you should find a Scripts menu in the menu bar, after Window and before Help. Your script should be in that menu. Select it and it will run.

I would like to learn the title and artist that is playing on iTunes. In this forum I have found a text to make a script to perform this task. Now, how to convert this text into a script, which extension must be a file containing a script, and finally, how can achieve my goal on iTunes?

I don't currently know of any type of apple script for that. However, there is a an interactive LCD section in iTunes that will show you what is playing. I personally don't use scripts and haven't since owning a mac.
