I have looked at this app, and not all buttons are labeled, on the bottom row, all 4 buttons are unlabeled, and they just read "button". There is on the top row, on the right end, same thing. I am going to find out what those buttons are, i did try to send the developer an e-mail, but i couldn't figure out how.
As the subject says, this app is really very nice. My only issue with it is that I can't figure out for the life of me how to change the currency from US dollars to something else. Example, I want to send 10 euros to someone. On the website, there's a combo box that lets you choose which currency you want to send. So I can type 10 in the amount box, choose Euros, and the conversion will be made automatically. On the Mobile app, I see no options to change currency. Anyone else have a clue for this or do I need to make my international payments over the website? LOL Thanks for your input.

Hi I have found one unlabelled button in this app, its on the wallet tab, so not all buttons are clearly labelled. For reference this buton shows information about your various paypal balances if you have balances in other currencies than your home one and also if you have pending transfers.

Paypal has become less accessible in its 5.x updates. Specifically, the data entry screen for sending money has changed for the worse, and there are more unlabeled buttons.

Paypal has thus far ignored my requests for remediation of the accessibility concerns.

I would recommend reducing the app's accessibility rating.

Really? I have had no issues sending money and withdrawing it to my bank. I would not worry about the issues as they are very good at fixing them. Plus remember the ADA only works for government contracts. The ADA does not work for private corporations and international ones like paypal might be. So they can do what ever they please.

You need to explore by touch to find the "I am not a robot" tickbox. With trial and error tapping on it, you will then get the capture and a button to get an audio challenge. This doesn't always work though. Having tried it a couple of times, nothing happens when tapping either it or the get a new challenge button.

I reported several accessibility problems to Paypal CS and got the following reply:

Dear Robert Murray,
The PayPal app doesn’t have an option to allow any voice over or braille options. This is because we are not able to get it to be compatible with the different software out there for braille and voice over control.
You can use these options on the full website, but just not with the app itself.
(...)
Best wishes,
Cara

I am running this app on an iPhone 8 under IOS 16.7.10 This version of Paypal came out a week ago. I have been using the PayPal website for years. I only put it on my phone three months ago in order to handle financial transactions with family members. I had to get sighted help setting it up because editfields don't behave as expected. I even called Apple Accessibility. The representative could confirm the problem but not really do anything. A user is supposed to be able to send money to friends and family or for goods and services. I haven't been able to find the Friends and Family option at all.
