VO constantly turning itself off and on in some apps under IOS8

I am having a big problem in some apps with VO turning itself off and on repeatedly since I "upgraded" to IOS8 on my IPod Touch 5G. IOS8.02 has not helped, either.
The apps have several short videos. If I watch only 1 or 2 videos, it's fine, but after that the trouble starts. I have tried turning off speech during the video, and manually stopping VO during the video, but neither fix really worked. The only thing that works is to close the app, after which VO behaves itself.
Does anyone have a fix for this problem?
If not, how do I contact Apple Accessibility?
Hoping someone knows how to fix this.

I've been seeing this in many apps after upgrading my 4S to IOS8 as well.

Hello,
I can confirm the VoiceOver crash on the first generation iPad Mini. I experienced this on various apps, including the built-in apps, like Camera and Mail. I did not experience any sort of crashing what so ever on my older iPhone 5S though.

Hello, I'm also experienced this with the mail app. Another something I also noticed the other day when I was updating my IOS to the latest version, was that voice over would turn itself off and then turn itself back on again.

I have been getting random crashing both in apps, and on the springboard (list of apps). Most of the time voiceover will restart. The only real issue I have is in the facebook app, (in relation to vo restarting), if I press the status button vo will quit responding for long periouds of time. (minutes). unless I respring, and sometimes this doesn't help either! I get around it by
finding the status button with one hand, turning vo off, tapping the status button, and turning vo back on.
seems to be working for now, latest IOS8 update, with latest fb. I've reported this to facebook, but ya, i'm having the vo restarting issue all over in ios 8.

For those of you who read blind bargains, they mentioned this morning a work around for vo crashing with older devices such as the 4s. Even though the voice sounds like crap switching to the Compaq voice fixes most of these crashes, I have tested on aps that use to crash for me and I can confirm they no longer crash.

Personally my phone doesn't crash right out, just turns VO off and then on again and I'd hate to have to use the compaq voice myself. That's not an option for me, unless I find my phone really crashes. I hope there's a more definite fix on the way!
