Description of App
Ingress transforms the real world into the landscape for a global game of mystery, intrigue, and competition.
Our future is at stake. You must choose a side.
A mysterious energy has been unearthed by a team of scientists in Europe. The origin and purpose of this force is unknown, but some researchers believe it is influencing the way we think. We must control it or it will control us.
“The Enlightened” seek to embrace the power that this energy may bestow upon us. “The Resistance” struggle to defend, and protect what’s left of our humanity.
Install Ingress and transform your world.
The World is the Game Move through the real world using your iOS device and the Ingress app to discover and tap sources of this mysterious energy. Acquire objects to aid in your quest, deploy tech to capture territory, and ally with other players to advance the cause of the Enlightened or the Resistance.
Strategy The struggle is being played out globally. Track the progress of players around the world, plan your next steps, and communicate with others using an Intelligence map.
Form Alliances The struggle to save the planet spans the entire world. Groups of people acting together can be more effective than individuals acting alone. Cooperation across neighborhoods, cities, and countries will be needed to achieve the ultimate victory.

Contacting the devs.
Has anyone tried to contact the devs? I see no reason why this couldn't be made accessible given a bit of work.
... going to try contacting the devs
As the last comment on this was a year ago, I downloaded and logged in this game to see if there was any progress - there was none. The login process is perfectly accessible, though there does not seem to be anything accessible beyond that. It's a real shame, as the premise sounds interesting.
Also, the reals reason I checked this game out - the same developer is doing "Pokemon Go" and I had hopes that it would be accessible, though if it's going to be exactly like this, then I am already disappointed. :(
Going to see about contacting the devs, anyhow.
Count me in!
Please do let us know how contacting the devs goes. I'm super passionate about pokemon and the upcoming pokemon go! I'd love to contact them, too. Just not sure who to contact. Do I go for the pokemon company? or the games devs who created ingress? :) Let me know how you get in contact with them, and I'll also email them, and get others to email/contact them ,too. :)
Thanks!
Caitlin
