iOS and iPadOS

Hello to all,
as you all know, apples iOS 8 will be released to the public tomorrow, so I've come to bring you a few quick things before you upgrade.
First off, since iOS 8 is apples biggest operating system ever, please back up all of your data before continuing with the update. faling to do so could cause you to lues all of your data, so it's a good idea to backup before performing an upgrade.
and finally, if you are upgrading from iOS 7.1.2 to iOS 8, your apps will not be effected by the update. however,I strongly recommend checking the app store for updates as we get closer to the public release. that way, all of your apps you've installed will be compatible with iOS 8. for example, APH (American Printing House for the Blind), the makers of their math robot product for the iPad, is already compadible with iOS 8, so please check the app store for frequent updates.
that's about all, but I hope you find my tips helpful.
Take care.

Hi, I have some older apps that haven't been updated in over a year or more. Should I remove these apps before upgrading? Also, should I back up everything to my computer or to icloud? And one more question, should I update using itunes or over the air?

Older apps should still work under iOs 8, however, don't take my word on it. They might not be compatible. If you can, the safest way I back up my iPhone is the old and trusted iTunes backup method, but if you wish to use iCloud, go for it. You can do whichever method works best for you, but if you do use iTunes, keep iTunes up to date as much as possible. Good luck in updating to iOs 8 tomorrow!!

I think I will wait at least a couple of weeks to update. I have an iPhone 4s and I'd like to see how people feel about it, and the possible bugs that may appear, remember iOS 7, until 7.1 or 7.1.1 the system was quite horrible.

I am heartbroken at how HORRIBLE the new ios8 accessibility features are.. the zoom which i need because of limited visibility and the stupid "in window" feature.. even when OFF .. and what was simple three tapping and fingers to zoom.. is now so dysfunctional i cannot read emaisl, texts, or really navigate at all.. even with Zoom Region as "full screen" I am getting small windows zooming.. and basically blocking access to the keyboard or showing type so large in a small windwo i can only see parts of letters... on my iPad... same.. depenidng on various Apps.. the full screen isn't zooming when I tap with three finders and slide.. a window appears.. and only zooms in that window.. and the window blocks access to other parts of the screen.. my message to anyone with eyesight issues is DO NOT UPGRADE to IOS8 until this stuff is fixed.. its a HORRIBLE USER EXPERIENCE

I have not updated to the new iOS. I have updated some of my apps. When I did that, my phone is acting weird. Its lagging, it toggles VoiceOver on and off at random or freezes up with any attempt to open or use anything on the phone. Its an iPhone 4S running iOS 7.0.4 , it does not sound like I will want the iOS 8 at all, which is unfortunate since it seems to be a major upgrade. Meanwhile if anyone has any suggestions on how to make my phone functional again? I tried to delete some of the apps I updated but it just freezes the phone. Accessing a contact from the phonebook menu also freezes the phone. Opening any apps also freezes the phone. My phone is also refusing to sync with my computer. When I try I get an error message saying sync failed. When I went to the Apple App store it said I must agree to the new terms of service which I did, and it indicated on my screen that I did so successfully. But I verified in my general settings that my iOS has not been updated to the new one, it still shows the new one as being available but that it is not now installed on my iPhone. Meanwhile the phone is not use able at all.
