I do not have any sort of certification but I do provide trainings for voiceover on Mac and iOS. I live in NYC but I do travel to Philly from time to time. Also, I am open to lessons over Skype.
If you're interested in working together, feel free to email me at walei@icloud.com .
Hello, I offer was overtraining for iPhone iPad and iPod and I'm working on learning the Mac so if there is something that I would could help you with I also offer training. I offer this three ways via e-mail, Skype, and you're telephone. You can contact me by e-mailing me at the following e-mail address. jhud7789@gmail.com
If you are close to an Apple retail store, you could attend one of the free 1 hour VoiceOver workshops that they are likely to run fairly regularly.
Alternatively, if you are talking about VoiceOver on the Mac and you are still to buy that Mac, there’s the paid One ro One service that Apple offer to buyers. Here’s what they say about it on their website:
One to One at the Apple Retail Store will help you do more than you ever thought possible with your Mac. First, we'll get you set up, and we'll show you how to keep everything in sync with iCloud. Then, we'll help you create a training curriculum that works with the way you learn.
One to One is just $99 for a full year and is available only at the time you buy a Mac from the Apple Retail Store or the Apple Online Store.
I went to a free workshop on Accessibility and VoiceOver a year or so ago, and the instructor did not know how to use it, he was not helpful. Recently I have been working with one of the instructors who is knowledgeable and committed. However, my impression is that she is an exception.
