Hi all, Looking at getting a Fuelband to give me an incentive to get fitter and compete with my friends for Fuel of course.
Has anyone used one? I don't have one to play with so the accompanying app is pretty much useless at the minute. Looks ok with VoiceOver but I can't really test it at all without a band so thought I would ask here and hope someone could comment before I spend my money.
Cheers all.

Hi Steve
I have a fitbit Flex. It's app is 100% accessible from what I can gather. I also have a Jawbone UP24, however it's accompanying app is not very VoiceOver accessible, so I wouldn't recommend it. I've heard that the Nike Fuel band and it's app work with VoiceOver, but like you, I don't use a fuel band.
Hi. I am also using Fitbit.
Hi. I am also using Fitbit. Although I can't say the app is 100% accessible, there are plenty of things to be improved yet, its very usable still. Here's the things I found inaccessible, if anyone has found a workaround, I'd be glad to hear of you :)
* During setup process, the field to enter the pairing code isn't recognized by Vo.
* One can't see the logs for past week, month, year etc from the app.
* Manual sleep logging is not accessible.
I think these are the biggest things.
Also, Withings has their Pulse O2. I don't own it, but I own the Withings smart body analyzer. They both use the same app and the Withings app is also mostly accessible. (it has the same issue with inaccessible weekly, monthly and early views.)
Hope this helps.
Hi both
I think I have found a way to see what fuel has ben earned for the day on the Nike app.
Only had a quick play with a Fuelband but they look usable. Not had much chance to play with either the Up or the Fitbit as yet. I think I will risk the Fuelband though. It does look like a good way to track activity and to hopefully give me an incentive to get fitter and a good way to track it.
