Downloading Gifted Movies in iTunes for Mac

Hello,

My girlfriend recently bought me a movie on iTunes. I was able to redeem the gift, and I can see the movie in my list of purchases that are not yet downloaded. Also, there doesn't seem to be a download button near the item in the store. I am able to download music and other things, but not this. How do I fix it?

Thanks.

I might be incorrect on this as I am still a PC user of itunes and a group of iOS devices, but I think that most of the store commands are the same with Mac as well. In the store menu in iTunes at the bottom where one can do things like login and logout and check account information on the current account logged in is a control labelled something like 'check for available downloads'. Selecting this should get the movie download going. I've never been gifted a specific movie, just been given gift cards, so I've never done this before, but this has worked for me in the past with music.

HTH,

Chris

Yes you are correct you can go to the store menu and then choose check for available downloads.

Hello,

I guess I should have specified this before, but I tried that and it says all available items for this Apple ID have been downloaded, but it's not in my library.

Thanks again.
