Is it possible to change the speed at which SIRI speaks and if so; how?

Yes, it's somewhat possible, if you have VO enabled and use that, since Siri will use whatever speech settings you use for VO. If VO isn't enabled, I don't see a way, though.

I can use vo at 100 percent and for me that's way way way too slow but for siri I'm glad it's that slow.I doubt it can be done, but I'd much prefer the slower speed so I can pay attention to what's actually happening.
Hi; I think we got on the wrong way, SiRI is nothing to do with voiceOver. Siri is a different sofware something like voice assistant, and voiceOver is a screen reader, if you change voiceOver setting doesn't affect at Siri.
Siri uses whatever speech settings you use for VoiceOver, though. So if you have your rate set to 100%, Siri uses that, since siri uses the text-to-speech that Voiceover uses.

Hi all. I'm new to Siri and I wasn't sure why when I had voice over off, siri was slow but on she's on well, speed lol. i'm wondering if the next IOs might have a speed control? It would be nice. :)

I have my speech set to 100%, and siri still speaks at the same rate she did when I took the phone out of the box.

The previous poster is incorrect. Siri never reflects voice over settings, unless I've just had bad luck with it. It uses a different synthesizer as of iOS 7. Samantha is no longer used, like in iOS 6.
