Hi, I am a very frequent user of the App Store. Sometimes, when I am trying to download some apps, I can't get to the place where all the details are. VoiceOver sometimes takes me straig to where it says "featured." Anyone know of a way to get around this?

That's happened to me several times. In my experience, touching the screen in random areas usually switches the focus to something different. For me, swiping doesn't work when this happens, just a sort of explore by touch technique.

You certainly can’t rely on swiping left and right to find everything on the page. The focus movement is flakey at best, and at worst it has real problems finding user reviews on the reviews tab. It’s far from ideal, but I find that a combination of the 3 fingered swipe up/down and locating items by touch is the closest I can get to reliably finding everything.

hi all, i too have had this problem, and once again, apple seriously, you need to fix this problem. I like the iOS devices, but please fix voiceover, I am hopeful it will be fixed in iOS 8.

The App Store content is created dynamically from Apple’s servers, so changes can be made at any time … they don’t need to be part of an update to iOS. So, I’m afraid that this is one occasion where Apple really have been poor in addressing the longstanding problems with VoiceOver.
