Hello all, so a few days ago I updated to Garageband 10 and purchased the full instrument kit, which is quite awesome. I've started working on some projects but my main problem now are the keystrokes. Apparently they refuse to work, or at least some of them. In the apple website, they list stuff like left arrow to move back, z to go to the start of the project, etc... but none of those seems to work. What I do to edit stuff is press enter which apparently takes you to the beginning too, press space to play and pause it when necessary, which is a pain in the butt and makes stuff *A LOT* harder and makes me spend hours with stuff that would take minutes if I could sort out this problem. Has anyone had this sort of thing happen before? Is there any way to fix it?
Also, if anyone has more experience with GB and knows stuff that might help me or any other GB users with producing music or podcasts, could you post it here or talk to me directly via the contact form or twitter? It's on my profile, but just in case my username is @guillelv_2000

Garabgeband etc.
I'm meeting Ricardo Walker Tuesday, June 17 at 2 PM to talk about this Garageband accessibility business. If we could make it a conference, that's cool with me. Personally, I got so disgusted with GB accessibility problems, that I just went out and bought a Windows machine so I could just use Sonar and Caketalking and be done with it. But I would still like to become more proficient with GB, if it ever becomes accessible enough to bother with seriously. Right now, it's more or less a really great sounding toy!

Although gb needs work, I can use it to makr profesionally sounding tracks. and accesibilly enough. I have to watch my punch ins and outs how ever. but over all it is very good. Go to http://alawamiproductions.com/listen and listen to this one's for the girls. I had some dying equipment so the volumes sucked but I plan on fixing that with a redoo at some time. I also plan on diong my new release with gb as well as I jut love it. and the more we use and provide feedback the more I think apple will listen.

Marrie, yes, I see you've done those, and they're quite good, but my problem is using GB myself now. I'm still investigating though. :D
