Accessible friendly audio recording app

I'm looking for a voice memo app that is accessible with voice over and speaks the name or the record button and stop button WHILE recording. Most don't speak names while recording.

Thanks for any help!

Hi Paul. Though Audioboo is more for recording daily activities, chatter, or podcasts, I don't see why you can't just record something and not publish it. You ahve ten minutes of talk time, it's free and though voice over doesn't speak stop, it does say start recording, and as you're speaking, pause, recording. If you press it, it says resume recording, so you know it's awaiting instruction. I saw another entry today, audio memo, but I don't know how accessible it is. Hope this info helps a little.

You could also use rev voice recorder. it does what you want and more.

Take care.

Hi, can't you use audiomemos app on the iPhone and double tap with 2 fingers whenever you want to stop? I don't meant to be harsh man, just corrious since I never tried.

Audio Share is extremely voiceover friendly. And it speaks the record and stop button clearly. There is no limit on your recording time.
You can also use the audio paste feature to import into it and you can export audio out to several sources.

It can be as simple or as detailed as you want it to be.

Also, if you are just talking about audio recording apps where voiceover will read the record/stop button - then yes, Audio Memos reads as well as Boss Jock Studio. Although the latter is much more feature filled and probably not what you want just to record a quick memo.

Hope that helps!

you might try voice memos. also dropvox which you pay a small fee for. they are both very accessible and I use them. they work well. Dropvox will upload to dropbox and you can get the files when you get home or back to your computer. Voice memos you can share the files with your ITunes and convert the recordings to MP3, if you wish.

Audio bus as the description and the app name implies is not a recording app. It is a way to route via singles one app to another.

For example if audio boo had audio bus capability, you could inputs boss jock to audio boo, or the other way around and do mixes on the fly for example, or one synth to a recording app for example.

I often don't rely on voice memos app as I've lost several recordings when a phone call occures. I do rely how evee on rev voice recorder as It just works and is very simple to use. It is like dropbox in a way but a bit more feature rich.

Take care.

Hi, I use the native Voice Memos app. My favorite feature is that you can remove sounds from new or current recordings using the enhance mode. I love it.
