Hi all. First thank you for answering my last question about the beep that happens. As for this tpic, has anyone tried to test out amazon's instant video and if you have, can you tell me if it worked and how you enjoyed it? I have just bought a thirty day trial of amazon prime, so I'm curious. before i get my hopes up. :) Thaks for any feedback.

fairly accessible
Hi there. Yes, the page is fairly accessible. It's mainly just cluttered. For instance, you can search for a title, and it puts options that relate to that title in headings. However, browsing is a little tricky, because not everything is in headings, so it just takes patient navigation. For future reference, the direct link for the video page is

Enjoy.
Wasn't there an IOS app too?
Hi Joe. Thank you for getting back so quickly. I may as well buy all the seasons of NCIS now. ;) Anyway wasn't there an app for the iPhone/pod thing too? Sorry for calling the IOS device a thing, I got lazy. Lol thanks again.
App for the thing
As the subject says, I couldn't resist a little joke about the thing. Anyway, there is an IOS app. I believe it's just called, Instant Video. I have played around with it a bit, and it seems to be accessible. Keep in mind, I have only glanced at it, so I can't say what it might be for the entire app.

I found the current version of the Amazon Instant Video IOS App to be very accessible on my iPhone 5S. Some VO accessibility notes and other instructions can be found in the "Other comments" section of the AppleVis app review at the following URL:

RE: Is Amazon Instant Video accessible using your Mac?
With regard to playing and controlling Amazon Instant Videos under MacOS Using VO: Last time I checked, this scenario required either the Adobe Flash plug-in or the Microsoft Silverlight plug-in, both of which are difficult to control under MacOS. I just now did a quick re-check, installing the Silverlight plug-in and starting one of the Prime Instant Videos. While the video started playing automatically on my system, I was not able to locate any controls such as pause, rewind, fast-forward, etc.
I'd be interested to hear if other folks are having success controlling Amazon Instant Videos on their Macs under OSX.
2013 MBA, MacOS 10.9.2, Safari 7.03:
That's an issue
I noticed that you can not find transport buttons either with flash, or Silverlight. There is one thing I have noticed however. for best sound quality, install Silverlight. With the flash plugin, the sound quality does not sound that good, but who knows. It could just be my machine. Also, I have high audio standards, so most people may not care. *grins* For those that may have Roganiva's intermission app, you can use that to pause or rewind a clip. Obviously, the down side is that you can only go as far forward as the live stream, but it's useful for pausing your show.
