Hi everyone. A software update was just installed on my Mac, but I can't find where to see what it was. I went to Software Updates, but was just presented with a "Back" button which was dimmed. Sometimes when I go there I can view the latest updates.

How to view recent updates
Here's how I view the latest updates installed on my Mac. This is with Mavericks, so it may be different with other versions of Mac OS X.
First, under the Apple menu, select App Store. When the window comes up, interact with the toolbar and select the Updates option. Stop interacting with the toolbar, then navigate down to the HTML content view. Interact with this and you should find a list of updates installed in the last 30 days, along with any new updates that may be available.

Another quicker way.
Hi Jake and dpw I think? Sorry wasn't paying attention your name. :) The easiest way is. Apple menu, software update like you did, Jake. Then you'll be stuck in the tool bar. I hate that, anyway just stop interacting, then go to the html content, interact, and there you have it. Hope that helps.
Ghost updates?
I have a slightly different problem in viewing updates; though not the history. When going to the store in any way, it says "No Updates Are available", yet the preference pain says they are. Any ideas?
