Accessibility Comments

Appears to be really accessible. However, there are few problems that I have found with it. Please read below for more.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some accessibility issues with this app, but it can still be used if you are willing to tolerate these issues and learn how to work around them.

Other Comments

As for the most part it does appear to be really accessible when you launch this app. After some testing there are some issues that makes this rather difficult to use. For starters as one explore with in the More tab that there are a number of unlabel buttons. Once could take the time and go through each one and label them accordingly. So this could be done if you want to do this. The real problem that I have found is the Recording section. Anytime I tap on the Recording. The Recording will start but as you will notice. Is that the audio player of where you have the Stop, Play/Pause, Forward, and etc. They are all dimmed. So I was unable to stop the recording easily. After some playing around with I finally got to stop it. It was not the Stop button as one would think would be. So if anyone find an easier way to stop this. Please leave a comment below and help us out. It is a lot better than previous versions but for making this truely accessible. It sill fall short of that. Hopefully, the developer will continue to tweak the app so that will be completely accessible for us to use.

Hi all, I work at a University, and as such am awlways on the look-out for good notetaking apps. I downloaded Super Note a while ago, and discovered it was totally inaccessible. But this has changed. I'm pleased to say that the app appears to be fully accessible. I say appears because I haven't been able to test out all its functions, but I have created and saved a note, and the Dev says that they have used standard Apple conventions in the design of the App. All the buttons I have seen appear to be well labeled, and the app appears very useable. If you are a student going to College, I'd suggest trying this out. There is a free version if you would like to try before you buy - obviously there are some limitations with the free version. One thing that does look good is that you are supposed to be able to record a lecture while typing notes about it, and have the notes and recording synchronized. This could be extremely useful. There is also Dropbox syncing. I'd be interested in anyone else's views about this update. Take care Cam

Hello Cameron, Unfortunetly, it may just be me but I had a few issue in using this app. So please let me know if you have found this different in what I've seen with it. As mentioned above. The More tab contains quite a few unlabel buttons. Plus, the Recording was easy to find and start. However, I found a difficult time in stoping it. Have you found this experience to be different for you? Were you able to find a simple way to stop your recording? Thanks.

Hi I actually discovered the unlabeled buttons after I posted my brief review. I have contacted the developer, thanking them for making the app more accessible and pointing out the unlabeled buttons. I haven't had a chance to test out the recording stuff yet. I'll try to do this and report back. I also had some trouble changing the categories. I'm not sure if by 'category' the dev means you can create categories of notes for different topics, or whether category simply means 'notes' memo' etc. I've asked the dev this question, and will let you know if I get a reply. JKeep the discussion going on this app - it could be a really useful app if it is made completely accessible. Cam

I double tap on the recording button to start the recording and then double tap again to stop. I just make sure that I keep focus on the recording button. Hope this helps.
