Spell checking service in apps

Hello, I have been trying spell checking in the notes app but it doesn't work the way I need it to work. Basically I have a already typed note with spell errors and I need to spell check it. In notes, I have been able to spell check words in typing time, but not after the text is already typed. In the mac, in text edit, cmd + ; will do the trick, putting me in the next misspelled word and letting me access the list with vo shift m ... is there a way of doing something like this in the notes app ... and if not is there an app that will provide such tool, specially that supports other languages?
