Accessibility Advocacy
Hi all,
I am writing regarding programs available from macroplant, they offer a range of programs that allow people to copy information and files to and from an iPhone, ipad or ipod without the use of iTunes.
However, most of there software is inaccessible, there PC version of iExplorer is certainly inaccessible I don't know if the mac version is or not.
I use one of there now retired programs called phone disk to routinely copy files to and from various apps on my iPhone but would like to take advantage of features and bug fixes offered in iExplorer which has basically replaced phone disk.
I wrote to them last year regarding accessibility and got a fairly positive response, but have heard nothing since then and scene no progress.
So, I am writing to ask would people be able to test the mac version of iexploer, and if it is inaccessible let them know?
Of course also let them know about the PC version of iExplorer being inaccessible as well.
I am convinced all they need is a push to see there is a demand for app accessibility, I have just sent them a friendly email today reminding them that I was in touch last year, and commenting that because of there lack of accessibility I am stuck using an outdated program which could very well stop working at some point in the future and certainly won't be receiving any updates.
I have told them about applevis so it will be interesting to see what sort of reply I get.
