Good evening. Who would I need to contact about accessibility issues with the cbs and nbc iPhone apps? The apps do not work well with VoiceOver. Are there similar apps that are accessible so I can watch current tv episodes?
Hi. You could try www.cbs.com and you don't need to sign in for things like ncis and other videos. If you're looking for video described sites, I won't be able to help you out there. I am pretty sure there's a contact us link, I'm going to explore that.
With regards to descriptive videos, consider www.blindmicemegamall.com. Create an account. Click the Movie Vault. Almost all things have the descriptive audio included, though some random episodes of a particular season of something may not. Then, once you have located something you wish to watch, you have two options. You can either use the free download link that comes up through SendSpace or you can purchase a monthly subscription rate through SendSpace. If you choose the free download, be aware that there are daily limitations as to how much content you can download in a single day, while the subscription method is worth the cost if, like me, you are a fanatic with regards to TV shows such as NCIS, for example. After downloading your TV shows or movies of choice, you can then create a playlist on your iDevice or put them on your digital talking book player such as the Victor Stream. Blind Mice has a lot of things to choose from to help tide you over until CBS and NBC become more accessible. .
Hope this helps you to bridge the gap in your TV watching.
Be blessed!
Hi. I only kept that short, just to save on the subject space. I was recently in the megamall, within i'd say the last month, and upon signing in, i only found maybe twenty movies? I didn't count, but my memory has quite a lot more then what's on there now. i'll go look again, as like you, I adore NCIS. but also in the main page of cbs.com at least, you're free to watch the latest and week before's episodes of some of the shows. I can help you find a certain program if it would help. No luck, on contacting the cbs people. I wonder if twitter or facebook should be involved.
Hello again. well, I'll take the blame for this. :) i clicked on recently added movies. They do have some items, but again before they redesigned everything, they had quite an extensive collection. only downfall is they had NCIS LA. and I was looking for theoriginal. I don't know, something about LL cool J just doesn't scream the right person for the job. i'm a Gibbs woman. :) thanks for your imput as well.
