Moving applications

I have noticed that when I move apps, they move fast between pages. For example, when I move an app on page 2, I want to move it to page 3 but a new page is created before I can stop it. Is there any way to slow this process using iOS 7? Thanks.

Unfortunately there isn't a way to do that. I highly suggest you to drag apps slowly by double tapping and holding the item you want to move. You'll notice when your at the end of a row, VO says item approaching border. I don't have a clue how to slow this process.

I have the same problem. I don't remember it being that bad in IOS 6. Hopefully they can find a solution.

A technique that some people find works well is to use the Dock to move apps to a different page - temporarily create an empty space on the Dock by moving an existing app out. Then, drag the app that you want to move to a different page onto the Dock. Now swipe until you are on the page where you want the app to be placed and drag it back out of the Dock. You then return the app to the Dock that you previously removed to create an empty space.
