Hi, does someone know of any good apps that tell you which apps are on sale or free? I tried AppFree, which was listed here as accessible but it doesn't seem to be so anymore. Thanks :).

Hi Rafaela, try Apps Gone Free. It will present a list of free apps daily, and it is very accessible. https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/apps-gone-free-best-daily/id470693788?mt=8 That is the link to it in the App Store. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Nafisah, it does seem to work fine, thanks. I wish though it had an option to mark a specific app and it would let you know when it is free. Appsfire had this option but it is no longer on the Appstore.

I recommend AppShopper. Create an account and whilst logged in, add apps to your wish list for future notifications by either or both e-mail and push notification. You can also add apps to My Apps which you have downloaded from the app store which will result in notifications of new versions. Unfortunately, the fifteen or so apps on my wish list have not decreased in price as of yet but one can always hope.

Thanks, I'll try it out. Is it an app or only a webpage service?

Both. They complement each other. I use the web service more.

Hi! I have an app called Store News, which I installed ages ago so I don't know if it's still in the app store, but it's accessible, and that app lists apps that have gone free or are reduced in price, with the list refreshing whenever you open the app. You can't search for specific apps in the Store News app, as far as I know, but if you double-tap an app name in the list it'll open the app store details for that app on your device, then you can decide whether to install said app or not. I hope this helps!
