macOS and Mac Apps
This is going to be a dumb question, but since updating to Mavericks I’ve still to find a reliable and easy way to eject USB drives.
In Mountain Lion I’m sure that you could simply use Command+E or the Eject option in the contextual menu. Both of these appear to have disappeared in Mavericks.
Google tells me that there should be an icon next to the drives in Finder, but I’ve not been able to locate this with VoiceOver.
I’ve also tried the F12 key (I’m using a non-Apple keyboard). VoiceOver says “Eject” when I do this, but the drive remains listed in Finder.
There is an Eject option when I use Disk Utility. but there has to be an easier option, yes?
So, would somebody please put me out of my misery and point me towards what will no doubt be the obvious (smiles)
